Grill to glory / Varied performances / 2009-2012I invented a new genre in the creative art scene that I call “Culinary Graffiti Art”. I used the American social tradition of BBQ and flipped the context in which audiences participated.
My goal was to challenge traditional and strictly defined categories of European art. My BBQ work explored the cultural commonalities and differences between the USA and Europe. The performances occurred at art galleries in Aargau, Zug, and Zürich, Switzerland.
